Fitness goals for the first half of 2010

I’ve been swimming for a little over a month, and have gone from being at the first notch on my belt to the fifth and last notch on my belt.

I now have one pair of 36” pants that I can get into, although I still can’t fit into the rest of my 36’s.  But I’ve found that watching my general calorie intake and swimming every day has produced some (personally, at least) noticeable results.

I have to buy a new pass for the pool each month, so here’s what I’d like to be different about each pass that I buy over the next few months:

When I buy my pass on April 1st: I can wear all of my 36” pants.
When I buy my pass on May 1st: I can wear all of my 36” pants *comfortably*
When I buy my pass on June 1st: all 36” pants too big to wear without a belt.

I will still have a long way to go if I hit these goals, but it seems like a good expectation to have moving forward.  I get impatient, and breaking things down longer term like this makes things easier for me to hold out for.
